{"id":8073,"date":"2026-10-18T15:30:36","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T12:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/?post_type=support_article&#038;p=8073"},"modified":"2026-10-18T15:30:36","modified_gmt":"2026-10-18T12:30:36","slug":"is-it-possible-to-receive-security-events-email-notifications-only-for-devices-assigned-with-a-specific-elements-profile","status":"publish","type":"support_article","link":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/de\/support-articles\/is-it-possible-to-receive-security-events-email-notifications-only-for-devices-assigned-with-a-specific-elements-profile\/","title":{"rendered":"Is it possible to receive Security Events email notifications only for devices assigned with a specific Elements profile?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Issue:<\/h3>\n<p>Is it possible to configure Elements Security Center portal to send Security Events email alert notifications only for devices assigned with a specific Elements profile?\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Resolution:<\/h3>\n<p>There is no in-built feature in the Elements Security Center portal to only send email alerts if an Elements Endpoint Protection device has been assigned a specific Elements profile.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You would need to use this workaroud:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Assign a label to each of the devices that has the profile<\/li>\n<li>Create a custom view on the <strong>Events &gt;<\/strong> <strong>Security Events <\/strong>page that has the filter <strong>Device Label = &lt;your-label-here&gt;<\/strong>. Then save the view as an Organization view.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Reports &gt; Email notification and report <\/strong>page and create an email report that uses the recently created security event view as the data source and then schedule the email report frequency to be <strong>Continuous<\/strong>.
