{"id":7107,"date":"2025-02-07T14:01:18","date_gmt":"2025-02-07T12:01:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/?post_type=announcement&#038;p=7107"},"modified":"2026-10-19T13:09:15","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T10:09:15","slug":"upcoming-new-elements-organization-management-features","status":"publish","type":"announcement","link":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/en\/announcements\/upcoming-new-elements-organization-management-features\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming: New Elements organization management features"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong> The old methods for managing organizations will be removed on April 22nd 2025<\/p>\n<p>As part of our ongoing work to unify workflows in <strong>WithSecure Elements<\/strong>, we will be introducing changes to <strong>Organization Management<\/strong> during February. <\/p>\n<p>These changes will help our Elements Administrators to more effectively manage their environments.<\/p>\n<p>Key features\/changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction of <strong>device group concept<\/strong> that will lead into group level access management later this year. Group level access management will assist administrators of larger environments to effectively manage access to their assets.<\/li>\n<li>New <strong>Elements level organization view<\/strong> collecting related features into same place and deprecating duplicate views.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the new changes have been released to the Elements Security Center, we are deprecating the following views, and they will be removed on April 22nd 2025 after the new functionality is available. This is a first step towards the introduction of <strong>group level access management,<\/strong> allowing full admin role on group only with read-only on company level. You can now define device groups manually by assigning device into management groups from <strong>Devices<\/strong> page and automatically from <strong>Profile assignment rules<\/strong> where with the same rule device can be assigned into group.
