{"id":7255,"date":"2025-12-08T15:09:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T13:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/?post_type=announcement&#038;p=7255"},"modified":"2026-10-19T13:10:55","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T10:10:55","slug":"important-update-sample-submission-is-moving-to-a-new-platform-2","status":"publish","type":"announcement","link":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/en\/announcements\/important-update-sample-submission-is-moving-to-a-new-platform-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Update: Sample Submission Is moving to a new platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 data-id=\"update-december-22-2025\"><strong>UPDATE &#8211; December 22, 2025:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The new platform is live and available as of December 22, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The old platform will be shut down on December 31, 2025.<\/p>\n<h2 data-id=\"what-is-changing\"><strong>What is changing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>By <strong>end of December 2025<\/strong>, we will retire the following sample submission channels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current online submission form:<code class=\"code codeInline\" spellcheck=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\">https:\/\/www.withsecure.com\/en\/support\/contact-support\/submit-a-sample<\/code><\/li>\n<li>partner-samples @ file-samples.withsecure.com<\/li>\n<li>japan-samples @ file-samples.withsecure.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All sample submissions will be handled through the new <strong>Sample Validation service<\/strong> in the <strong>WithSecure\u2122 Elements Security Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-id=\"about-the-change\"><strong>About the change<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-id=\"why-this-change\"><strong>Why this change?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The new platform provides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stronger security and authenticated access<\/li>\n<li>Faster processing<\/li>\n<li>Full visibility and traceability of your requests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-id=\"when-will-this-change-happen\"><strong>When will this change happen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Planned rollout: <strong>End of December 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>After the official release, <strong>all sample submissions must be made via the Elements Security Center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Final release date will be communicated separately.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/community.withsecure.com\/home\/leaving?allowTrusted=1&amp;target=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.withsecure.com%2Fuserguides%2Fproduct.html%23business%2Felements-welcome%2Flatest%2Fen%2Fconcept_samplevalidation-latest-en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener ugc\">User Guide<\/a> is now available. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-id=\"what-remains-unchanged\"><strong>What remains unchanged<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>WithSecure Cloud Protection for Salesforce Analytics: You can continue Reporting of false positives and false negatives from Analytics.<\/li>\n<li>Report False Positive from Elements Security Events: You can continue Reporting of false positives.<\/li>\n<li>Report False Positive functionality implemented within the product (e.g., Browsing Protection, Quarantine) You can continue Reporting of false positives from any product that has the functionality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-id=\"action-required\"><strong>Action Required<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-id=\"if-you-have-a-withsecure-elements-subscription\"><strong>If you have a WithSecure\u2122 Elements subscription<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>No immediate action is needed.<br \/>\nOnce released, you will find the Sample Submission option directly in your Elements Security Center under the company scope selector.<\/p>\n<h3 data-id=\"if-you-do-not-have-a-withsecure-elements-subscription\"><strong>If you do NOT have a WithSecure\u2122 Elements subscription<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To continue submitting samples, you will need an WithSecure Elements account. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>This applies to existing customers using our other solutions ( On-Premises solutions (Business Suite, Atlant, Email and Server Security)<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will happen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You need to submit a a request for access to the new platform in advance of needing to use it. You can already request this access using our Support team link: <a href=\"https:\/\/community.withsecure.com\/home\/leaving?allowTrusted=1&amp;target=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.withsecure.com%2Fen%2Fcontact-support%2Femail-support%2F\" rel=\"nofollow noopener ugc\">Submit request<\/a><\/li>\n<li>WithSecure validates your customer information.<\/li>\n<li>An Elements account will be created for you to access the Sample Validation service.
