UPDATE 2026-03-05: This new functionality has now been deployed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of our ongoing effort to simplify cloud onboarding and provide a unified experience across our Elements platform, we are introducing an update to how Azure Subscriptions are onboarded for exposure scanning.<\/p>\n

The change is expected to be released during March 2026.<\/p>\n

What is changing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following the earlier transition of Microsoft Tenant onboarding to Elements Cloud Account Management (CLAM)<\/strong> page, Azure Subscription onboarding will now also be handled through CLAM<\/strong>.This gives customers a consistent and centralized way to manage cloud accounts.<\/p>\n

Who is affected?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This change applies only to customers using Exposure Management for Cloud<\/strong> (cloud security posture capabilities).<\/p>\n

If you are not using Exposure Management for Cloud, no further action is required.<\/p>\n

Do I need to take action?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No immediate action is required.<\/strong>Your existing connected Azure Tenants and Subscriptions will continue to function normally.<\/p>\n

You will only need to take action when you want to onboard a <\/strong>new Azure Subscription<\/strong><\/em> for exposure (cloud security posture) scanning.<\/p>\n

What happens when I want to add a new Azure Subscription?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the Tenant associated with the subscription is marked as \u201cLegacy\u201d<\/strong> in the UI, you must first re\u2011onboard that Tenant via CLAM. <\/p>\n

How to re\u2011onboard a Legacy Tenant<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Go to the Tenant\u2019s page in Elements.<\/li>\n
  2. Locate the Cloud Security Posture<\/strong> capability.<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u201cConnect now\u201d<\/strong> to re\u2011onboard the Tenant.<\/li>\n
  4. Once the Tenant connection has been re\u2011established in CLAM, onboarding new Azure Subscriptions will be enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Important Note About PowerShell Script Downloads<\/strong><\/p>\n

    After this change:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Downloading the PowerShell onboarding script for Azure Subscriptions will only be possible if the parent Tenant\u2019s Cloud Security Posture capability is already connected and active.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If the tenant has not been re\u2011onboarded yet, the system will prevent script download until the connection is re\u2011established.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
