A harmless web site (URL) is blocked by WithSecure Browsing Protection component.<\/p>\n

Resolution:<\/h3>\n

If you think that the website is safe and Browsing Protection has a false rating for this page. Please submit a <\/a>Sample Validation ticket using the Elements portal:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Log in to the\u00a0Elements Security Center Portal<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Go the\u00a0Requests\u00a0page on the menu on the left<\/li>\n
  3. Select\u00a0Create Request.<\/li>\n
  4. Open the\u00a0Request type\u00a0drop-down menu and select\u00a0Submit sample for validation<\/li>\n
  5. Open the\u00a0Sample type\u00a0drop-down menu and select\u00a0URL.\n

    1. Make sure you selected the correct sample type.\n
        \n
      1. URL-Based False Positive: A safe website is blocked by mistake. For example,\u00a0https:\/\/partnerportal.company.com<\/a>\u00a0blocked as phishing.<\/li>\n
      2. URL Categorization: Request to update or correct the URL category. For example, reclassifying a corporate blog from \u201cUnknown\u201d to \u201cBusiness.\u201d<\/li>\n
      3. Unknown URL: A new or uncategorized domain requiring classification. For example, submitting\u00a0https:\/\/newvendor.io<\/a>\u00a0for review.<\/li>\n
      4. URL-Based False Negative: A harmful website is not blocked by the product. For example,\u00a0http:\/\/malicious-site.ru<\/a>\u00a0remains accessible and serves malware.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. Enter URL or IP address.<\/li>\n
      6. Open the\u00a0Request reason\u00a0drop-down menu and select one option:\n
          \n
        1. False Negative – Malicious URL not blocked<\/li>\n
        2. False Positive – Trusted URL blocked<\/li>\n
        3. CAT – URL has incorrect content category<\/li>\n
        4. CAT – M – URL missing content category<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        5. Open the\u00a0Product name\u00a0drop-down menu and select the product<\/li>\n
        6. Add a short title for the request in the\u00a0Title\u00a0field<\/li>\n
        7. Write down a description of the file or summary of concern.<\/li>\n
        8. Select\u00a0Create Request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n


          As a temporary workaround before the URL reputation has been fixed, you can exclude the blocked website address:<\/p>\n

          For Elements Endpoint Protection<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Log in to the Elements portal: https:\/\/elements.withsecure.com<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Open the\u00a0Security configurations\u00a0<\/strong>section from the menu on the left<\/li>\n
          3. Go to Profiles<\/strong> tab and edit the current profile<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
          4. Select Browsing Protection<\/strong>\u00a0 > Allowed sites<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
          5. Scroll down to the Web site exceptions <\/strong>section\u00a0<\/li>\n
          6. Enable web site exceptions<\/li>\n
          7. Click Add site<\/strong> under the Allowed sites <\/strong>section and add the blocked URL shown in the block notification<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
          8. Click Save profile<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            For Business Suite Client Security and Server Security:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

            1. Log in to the Policy Manager console<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
            2. Select a host or policy domain from the domain tree<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
            3. Click Settings<\/strong> tab\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
            4. Go to Web Content Control<\/strong> > Trusted sites<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
            5. Click Add<\/strong> option and add the blocked sit<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
