Resolution:<\/h3>\n

You can create a targeted scheduled scan by following these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to Policy Manager Console<\/li>\n
  2. Select the host or domain from the\u00a0Domain Tree\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. Go to the\u00a0Settings <\/b>tab\u00a0<\/li>\n
  4. Go to the Windows<\/strong> >\u00a0Manual scanning\u00a0<\/b>page\u00a0<\/li>\n
  5. Click\u00a0Add\u00a0<\/b>on the right side of the\u00a0Scheduled scanning\u00a0<\/b>list<\/li>\n
  6. Enter the\u00a0Scheduling parameters\u00a0<\/b>(Example: \/t08:30 \/rweekly \/s4 – this scan will be run each Thursday at 08:30)<\/li>\n
  7. Select\u00a0Generic\u00a0<\/b>as the\u00a0Task Type<\/b><\/li>\n
  8. Enter in the\u00a0Task Type Specific Parameters:\u00a0<\/b>\n

    • Client Security:<\/b><\/strong>"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\F-Secure\\Client Security\\fsscan.exe" -s \u00a0C:\\Examplefolder\u00a0<\/li>\n
    • Server Security:<\/strong>\u00a0"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\F-Secure\\Server Security\\fsscan.exe" -s\u00a0 D:\\Examplefolder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Distribute the policy\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This will scan the target folder C:\\Examplefolder and sub-folders within it with the current scan settings shown in Policy Manager Console in the\u00a0File scanning\u00a0<\/b>section on the\u00a0Manual scanning\u00a0<\/b>page.\u00a0<\/p>\n
