DNS resolution for certain sites are blocked with the product installed. How to avoid this from happening?<\/p>\n

Resolution:<\/h3>\n

Most likely the DNS resolution is blocked by the Botnet Blocker feature. The site is rated as unsafe and hence blocked by the feature.<\/p>\n

You need to do the following:<\/p>\n

1. Share the URL with the Labs team, for further investigation.\u00a0<\/font>The Labs team will whitelist the URL if the site is not malicious:\u00a0https:\/\/www.withsecure.com\/en\/support\/contact-support\/submit-a-sample<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Whitelist the blocked site or the IP address of the blocked site via the Advanced View in the PM Console at:<\/font><\/p>\n

  1. Log in to Policy Manager Console<\/li>\n
  2. Highlight a host or policy domain from the Domain Tree<\/li>\n
  3. Go to the\u00a0Settings\u00a0<\/b>tab<\/li>\n
  4. Go to\u00a0Web content control\u00a0<\/b>settings<\/li>\n
  5. Click\u00a0Add\u00a0<\/b>from the right side of the\u00a0Trusted sites\u00a0<\/b>list<\/li>\n
  6. Add the site or domain URL in the address field<\/li>\n
