We have certain email attachments that are blocked or quarantined by Elements Collaboration Protection due to disallowed content. The files are clean and how do we solve it?<\/p>\n

Resolution:<\/h3>\n

To resolve the blocked attachment due to the "Disallowed content" verdict, you can either allow the file extension or add the trusted sender email address\/domain to the tenant's Elements Collaboration Protection policy.<\/p>\n

To allow the file extension<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Log on to the Elements portal (https:\/\/elements.withsecure.com\/<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  2. Go to\u00a0Collaboration Protection<\/strong> > Policies<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select the tenant's policy<\/li>\n
  4. Go to Exchaneg > <\/strong>General<\/strong> > Malware scanning<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. In the Disallowed file types <\/strong>section, click on the Configure file types<\/strong>, and untick the target file type<\/li>\n
  6. Click Save<\/strong>
    <\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Add the sender address\/domain to exclude attachment scanning:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

    1. Log on to the Elements portal (https:\/\/elements.withsecure.com\/<\/a>)<\/li>\n
    2. Go to Collaboration Protection<\/strong> > Policies<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Select the tenant's policy<\/li>\n
    4. Go to\u00a0Exchange<\/strong> > General<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Turn on the 'Trusted senders<\/strong>' option<\/li>\n
    6. Add the sender email:\n

      1. email address to the Trusted email sender addresses <\/strong>list if you want to allow a specific email address<\/li>\n
      2. domain to the Trusted sender domains <\/strong>list if you want to allow a whole domain<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
