This update signifies that affected endpoints will download a larger, refreshed signature base of <strong>up to 130 MB<\/strong>, compared to the usual few KB to few MB size of standard updates.<\/p>\n<p>Standard updates will resume immediately afterward, returning to their normal size.<\/p>\n<h3 data-id=\"update-details\"><strong>Update Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Platform coverage: This update applies to <strong>all WithSecure Endpoint Protection products<\/strong> \u2014 across <strong>Windows, Mac, and Linux<\/strong> platforms that utilize the <strong>Capricorn engine.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-id=\"deployment\"><strong>Deployment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The update will be <strong>delivered automatically<\/strong> through the regular VDF update mechanism.<\/li>\n<li>Updates containing this release will start with <strong>&#8221;WithSecure Capricorn Engine (2026-10-xx-xx)&#8221;.<br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Users of WithSecure Elements EPP may wish to consider taking the Elements Connector into use, to help reduce internet access, if they have several deployed endpoints.
