Resolution:<\/h3>\n

A reseller partner can only decrease the number of licenses within the renewal window = 90 days from the license expiry date.\u00a0<\/p>\n

License amount increase can be done by following these steps:\u00a0<\/p>\n

  1. Open the\u00a0Sales<\/strong> tab from the main menu and go to Accounts\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Select the customer account<\/li>\n
  3. Go to the\u00a0Deal Ordering & Subscriptions <\/strong>tab and click Amend Contracts<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Select Amend Subscriptions <\/strong>and click Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Select the contract that will be amended and click Amend <\/strong>next to the contract you want to amend<\/li>\n
  6. Set the Amendment Start Date <\/strong>(by default start date is today, can be set to 31 days in the future)<\/li>\n
  7. Select Contract <\/strong>for the amendment<\/li>\n
  8. Verify that you are opening the correct contract for amendment, proceed by clicking Amend <\/strong>(the quote will appear)<\/li>\n
  9. Click on the pen icon <\/strong>next to the Quantity <\/strong>field and enter the new quantity<\/li>\n
  10. Click on the Quick Save <\/strong>button to apply the changed on the quote line data\n

    1. Effective Quantity <\/strong>column shows the increase or decrease of the number of seats. In essence: How many seats are added to the subscription with this amendment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Click Save <\/strong>to save the amendment quote<\/li>\n
    3. Click\u00a0Generate Order\u00a0<\/strong>\n

      1. Before generating an order from a quote, double-check that the products, quantities, and pricing are correct and as intended<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Open the Sales <\/strong>tab from the main menu and go to the Renewal Center<\/strong><\/li>\n
        2. Select the customer from the list and click Renew + Modification\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n

        4. Click Save <\/strong>to save the quote<\/li>\n
