Why is the button missing?\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Resolution:<\/h3>\n<p>If the <strong>Add<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>new device\u00a0<\/strong>option is missing on the Elements Security Center portal&#39;s <strong>Environment &gt; Devices<\/strong> view in the Elements Security Center Portal when you click on the three dots, there are a few reasons why it can be missing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are missing the full management rights for Elements Endpoint Protection<\/li>\n<li>You do not have valid licenses for the product you are trying to add<\/li>\n<li>If you are a partner user, you have the wrong level selected from the scope-selector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">You are missing the full management rights for Elements Endpoint Protection<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Make sure that your user account has full editing rights for Endpoint Protection:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the Elements Security Center portal<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Management &gt; Organization Settings &gt; Security Administrators page\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Check the <strong>Endpoint Protection <\/strong>column for your user account and make sure that you have the correct rights<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you do not have the full editing rights for Endpoint Protection, ask a colleague to add the rights for you or if you have a Partner Managed subscription you can contact your partner to have the rights added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">You do not have valid licenses for the product you are trying to add<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Add new device <\/strong>button can be missing\u00a0if you do not have any relevant licenses attached to your company account. Make sure from the <strong>Management &gt; Subscriptions <\/strong>page that you have valid licenses for one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elements EPP for Computers or Servers<\/li>\n<li>Elements EPP for Mobiles\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you are a partner user, you have the wrong level selected from the scope-selector<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you are a partner, you need to select the customer company level from the <strong>Scope-selector<\/strong> drop-down menu. The <strong>Add new device <\/strong>button is not visible on the partner level because the partner level doesn&#39;t include any subscriptions.\u00a0 The scope-selector is the drop-down menu shown in the top-left corner of the Elements Security Center portal.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Add New Device option missing in Devices view in Elements portal.
