Issue:<\/h3>\n

Since installing WithSecure Elements EPP for Computers on our Windows devices, users are unable to view some YouTube videos and Youtube videos embedded on websites.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Error "This video is restricted. please check the google workspace administrator and\/or the network administrator restrictions" is shown when user tries to watch Youtube video.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Resolution:<\/h3>\n

This issue can be due to Browsing Protection by WithSecure setting "Enforce SafeSearch mode" being enabled in the Elements profile\u00a0<\/p>\n

When "Enforce SafeSearch mode" is enabled, it also enables the "Restricted mode" for YouTube and the Restricted mode for YouTube is blocking the video according to their categories.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To resolve this issue, proceed to follow the steps below to disable "Enforce SafeSearch mode" in<\/span> <\/strong>the Elements<\/span> <\/strong>profile:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Login to\u00a0Elements portal<\/strong>: https:\/\/elements.withsecure.com<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to Security Configurations > <\/strong>Profiles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Choose the profile that is assigned to the affected devices<\/li>\n
  4. Click on the\u00a0Browsing protection<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n
  5. Turn\u00a0Enforce SafeSearch mode\u00a0<\/strong>off in the Common settings <\/strong>section<\/li>\n
  6. Click Save profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
