How can I find out what address was blocked?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Resolution:<\/h3>\n<p>By default the website URL address is only shown in the security event if the website URL address has been blocked due to it being rated either harmful (malicious), suspicious or prohibited. This is due to regional privacy laws.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This means that since if a website is blocked due to any of the following reasons, the website&#39;s URL address is not included in the security event alert:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When the website has been blocked due to it being on the manually added <strong>Denied sites <\/strong>list<\/li>\n<li>When the website has been blocked due to the site being included in a blocked Web Content Control category\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>When a website has been blocked due to Connection Control being active when a user has entered a banking site and the site they are trying to access is not rated as safe for banking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that in each of these scenarios, the blocked website URLs are not inherently malicious or harmful.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to show the website URL address in all security events, you can change the following setting in the Elements profile that is in use on the devices:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the Elements Security Center portal<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Security configurations &gt; Profiles <\/strong>page<\/li>\n<li>Open the profile that is in use on the devices<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Browsing protection <\/strong>settings page<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Common settings <\/strong>section, enable <strong>Include the blocked URLs in all security Events\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note that you need to make sure to check and follow regional laws before turning on this feature or that you have asked the permission from the users.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Obtaining the list of blocked websites by Browsing Protection or Web Content Control in Elements Endpoint Protection Portal<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","support_article_product":[99],"class_list":["post-8051","support_article","type-support_article","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"source_foreign_id":"000006101","source_version":1,"source_system":"salesforce","source_date_updated":"2026-10-17 20:31:32","import_hash":"c6fe6ce27beb54dc4cea6165b8aebd972fa17c42","vanilla_article_id":"","vanilla_url":"","vanilla_kb_id":"","vanilla_category_id":"","machine_translated":false,"reactions_helpful_yes":"","reactions_helpful_no":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/support_article\/8051","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/support_article"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/support_article"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=8051"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"support_article_product","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/support.withsecure.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/support_article_product?post=8051"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
