You can set Policy Manager to forward alerts to a third-party syslog server.<\/p>\n

Currently, both TCP and UDP transport protocols are supported.<\/p>\n

To configure syslog alert forwarding:<\/p>\n

  1. Select\u00a0Tools\u00a0<\/b>>\u00a0Server configuration<\/b>\u00a0from the menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Click\u00a0Syslog<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select\u00a0Forward alerts to syslog<\/b>\u00a0and enter the server address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • By default, alerts are forwarded to syslog using UDP port number 514. If you want to use a different port, enter the port number after the server address, for example, test.com:8080<\/i>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
