How to order evaluation (trial) license for a new customer in the WithSecure Partner Portal<\/p>\n

Resolution:<\/h3>\n

Follow these steps to create an trial \/ evaluation order for a new customer account in the WithSecure Partner Portal.<\/p>\n

New Partner Portal:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to the Partner Portal<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the Visit New Partner Portal<\/strong> button on the Home<\/strong> page<\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to Sales > Account\u00a0<\/li>\n
  4. Choose the customer account from the list<\/li>\n
  5. Open the Trials<\/strong> tab within the account view\u00a0<\/li>\n
  6. Click New Trial\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Define the Customer Contact and click Next\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Select the products from the trial (pay attention to the Managed by column, a trial can be Company or Partner Managed) and click Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Check and confirm the trial details and click Save<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Old Partner Portal:<\/p>\n

    1. Log in to your Partner Portal account<\/li>\n
    2. Click\u00a0Ordering <\/b>and\u00a0<\/b>select Yearly<\/b><\/li>\n
    3. Click\u00a0New Order<\/b><\/li>\n
    4. In the Search or add customer, enter your customer account.\u00a0Note:<\/strong> If the account is not exist, click Add new in the search result.<\/li>\n
    5. Fill in the customer information and click\u00a0Save<\/b><\/li>\n
    6. Click\u00a0Add Products<\/b> > Evaluation<\/b>. Note<\/b>: Evaluation products will be added with 90 days license term<\/li>\n
    7. Choose the product, click\u00a0Continue<\/b><\/li>\n
    8. Enter your reference number (This value would be your own reference)<\/li>\n
    9. Click\u00a0Continue<\/b><\/li>\n
