Why is the labels column empty for certain devices in the Elements Security Center Portal's Environment ><\/strong> Devices<\/strong> list? From where does the label value come from and what is it used for?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Resolution:<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0Label <\/b>value in the Elements Security Center Portal is something that an administrator can themselves assign to a device or a group of devices. The label can be used to identify a specific device or a group of devices. For example, if some devices belong to a group, you can assign the group a label:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to the Elements Security Center Portal<\/li>\n
  2. Go to the Environment > <\/strong>Devices\u00a0<\/b>page<\/li>\n
  3. Select the devices (a menu will pop-up)<\/li>\n
  4. Click Manage labels > Add labels<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Enter the label value and click\u00a0Add<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once the devices have a label, you can use the filter to show only devices belonging to a specific label:<\/p>\n
