For how long are the items stored in quarantine by Business Suite – Client Security or Server Security?

Issue:

For how long are the items (files) stored in quarantine by Business Suite – Client Security or Server Security? Can the time duration be changed / modified / adjusted? 

Resolution:

By default Business Suite Client Security and Server Security products store the files in the quarantine for 30 days. This setting can be changed from the Policy Manager Console:

1. Log in to the Policy Manager Console
2. Select a host or policy domain from the domain tree
3. Go to the Settings tab 
4. Navigate to the Windows > Quarantine management settings page
5. Change the Remove items Older Than value
6. Distribute the policy (Ctrl + D)

If you want to disable the quarantine from removing old items automatically. you can from the same settings view disable the Remove Old items Automatically setting.
