How to exclude IP address from the Discovery scan IP range in Elements Exposure Management

Issue:

How to exclude an IP address from the Discovery scan IP range in Elements Exposure Management. We don't want to scan every IP within the range. 
 

Resolution:

If you don't want to scan every IP within a range with a Discovery Scan, you can exclude an IP range within the included range by adding it to the Excluded IP ranges field.

1. Log in to the Elements Security Center portal
2. Navigate to the Security configurations > Scans page
3. Go to the Discovery scans page
4. Click either Add discovery scan or edit an existing discovery scan
5. Enter the IPs you do not want scanned to the Excluded IP ranges field

For example: 
IP range – 192.168.1.0/24
Specific IP addresses – 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.3
