How to add friendly name for scan targets in Elements Exposure Management?

Issue:

For devices without DNS or host name that are only shown as an IP address on the Network Scans page in the Elements Security Center portal, how to add friendly name or change the name of the scan targets in Elements Exposure Management?

Resolution:

If you want to add a name for a target device scanned by Elements Exposure Management scan node (Network Scan / System Scan), you can do that in the Elements Security Center portal by following these steps:

1. Log in to the Elements Security Center portal
2. Navigate to the Security configurations > Scans > Network scans page
3. Expand a scan group 
4. Find the target host and click the three dots on the right side and select Edit scan settings.
5. In the Scan Targets section, add a name to the Name field
6. Click Next until you reach Other settings
7. Click Finish to save the settings
