Do WithSecure endpoint products scan emails for infections or viruses?

- Elements Endpoint Protection: EPP for Computers and EPP for Servers
Resolution:
WithSecure endpoint products do not scan emails immediately. Real-time scanning will automatically start when you run a file from an email, and will scan it before allowing the file to open or execute.
Elements Endpoint Protection and Client Security protect your devices but does not scan email traffic at the mailbox level. For mailboxes hosted in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online), the product for this is WithSecure Elements Collaboration Protection. Elements Collaboration Protection analyses attachments and links in emails that users both receive and send, checking for malware, ransomware and phishing.
It connects cloud-to-cloud to your Microsoft 365 tenant, so no server or extra software is needed, and if you have an Elements product already, Elements Collaboration Protection can be managed from the same Elements Security Center you already use.
