What is the quarantine email retention period for Elements Collaboration Protection ?

Issue:

When Elements Collaboration Protection has quarantined an email, how long will the emails be stored in the quarantined and will they be eventually automatically deleted? What is the quarantine email retention period for Elements Collaboration Protection?

Resolution:

By default Elements Collaboration Protection will store the quarantined emails for 6 months until they are automatically deleted from the quarantine. You can change this setting in the Cloud service policy that you have in use:

1. Log in to the Elements Security Center portal
2. Navigate to Collaboration Protection > Policies
3. Open the policy that you have in use on your cloud service
4. Go to the Exchange tab
5. Go to the General settings page
6. From the drop-down menu named "Quarantine – Select a time period after which old items will be deleted automatically", select either:
   1. 1 month
   2. 3 months 
   3. 6 months 
   4. 1 year 
7. Click Save
