How to allow or disallow local uninstallation Elements Endpoint Protection Agent?

Issue:

How can an administrator prevent or block a local administrator user from uninstalling Elements Agent from a computer?

Resolution:

To allow or disallow a local administrator user from uninstalling the Elements Agent:

1. Log on to the Elements Security Center portal
2. Go to the Security configurations > Profiles page
3. Select the profile that is in use on your devices
4. Under General settings, under the Security features section, slide the "Allow user to uninstall the product" slider to the on or off position.
   • On – User is allowed to uninstall the product
   • Off – User is not allowed to uninstall the product
5. Click Save profile

When this setting is disabled, an administrator user cannot uninstall the Elements Agent using Windows Apps & Features functionality. 

To block a user from running WsUninstallationTool.exe to uninstall Elements Agent, you can enable the Tamper Protection feature from the Security features section page in the profile.
