Issue:

Error "invalid credentials" when trying to log in to the Policy Manager Console. How to reset the administrator user account password? 

Resolution:

Reset admin account tool is available with installation folder of Policy Manager Server. Follow these steps to reset the admin password for Policy Manager Server:

  1. Open a Command Prompt with administrator privileges
  2. Stop the Policy Manager Server service by running command: net stop wspms
  3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\WithSecure\Policy Manager\Policy Manager Server\bin
  4. Run command: reset-admin-account.bat
  5. Enter new password
  6. Start the Policy Manager Server service by running command: net start wspms
